First Class Travel - What's Hot, Undiscovered & Fun in Travel

Domestic Travel Insurance

July 26th 2010 17:54
Let's think for a second. If you were to stay in Australia either for your holidays or for a business trip, would you think of buying Australia travel insurance? Most people answer 'no' to this question, but sometimes life happens and you should be rprepared for situations like that.

Say you live in the outback. You've been dreaming about that relaxing cruise... And the weather forecast tells you things will stay the same for a while longer, meaning you will keep isolated where you are because most public transportation will be closed. If such a thing happens and the cruise ship leaves without you, a travel insurance policy could help at least with the financial part of your frustrated plans.

Or suppose you were in Darwin and you had to fly down south to a conference. After you paid for all fees, such as flight, fancy hotel and the conference itself, then a cyclone stops all flights. What if your tickets and hotel fees were all non-refundable? Australina travel insurance won't make your headache disappear, but at least you will get your money back for all the fees you paid and couldn't make use of.

I'm aware Australia is not such a dangerous place to travel if compared to other regions of the world. Still, natural disasters can always happen and ruin months of previous arrangements. Small delays can become bigger problems, incurring in extra costs. Domestic travel insurance will help you on those scenarios, so you can enjoy your holidays with peace of mind.

Types of travel insurance policy may or may not cover aspects such as loss of baggage, family emergencies, disruption of journey, among others. Multi-trip travel insurance policies can be purchased by frequent travelers, which may offer savings in comparison with individual policies.

Just don't think that staying at home means you will not face any types of problems during your trips. Get a domestic travel insurance policy and set off for your holidays in peace!

Greece Luxury Rentals at Lefkas

July 11th 2010 11:54
Greece is the perfect place for you to work on your tan, go out shopping and enjoy the adrenalin in your blood with adventure sports. The financial crisis has created a great opportunity for visitors to enjoy luxury holidays at accessible prices.

Greek luxury rentals at Lefkas, an island in the Ionian sea, offer you the chance to relax in a great place. The good thing about this island is that, even though you can stay at your villa during your entire stya, you can also count with a wide variety of activities around the island.

Windsurfing lovers can visit Vassiliki, for example. For those who prefer diving or tanning, other beaches like Gialos and Egremnoi will suit you just perfect!

Lefkas Town is the main city, which offers stylish cafes, many stores for the shoppers and beautiful people everywhere. The bars and restaurants are mostly located along the harbor, where you can sit and enjoy the beach view or the ships coming and going.

And every year in August the island hosts the Festival of Literature and Art, which includes music and folk dancing. Just the perfect timing for booking your Lefkas luxury rental!

Algarve is located in the South of Portugal, being one of the most popular Summer holiday locations Irish, Dutch, and Germans. Among it's 16 municipalities and 9 cities, the visitor has plenty of choices for renting holiday villas.

Tourism, in fact, is the most important econonomic activity in this region, creating jobs not only for the local people but also to many foreign nationalities as well. Both aspects help increase the likelyhood of both getting understood in your native language, as well as that people will treat you nice. They need your money, after all!

The first tourists to discover the area were the British in the mid 1960s. As some of them had a great time in the region, they started to buy Algarve holiday villas. This trend went sky high as the region invested in opening golf courses.

BEST RENTAL PLACES IN ALGARVE

Praia da Luz is a beach, village and resort near Lagos city. The "Beach of Light" was once a fishermen village and, in fact, you can find some old remains from that era.

Another interesting place is Armacao de Pera, a small town that blends the medieval with the modern with a lot of personality and harmony. This is a place where you can visit old churches during the day and a sophisticated bar in the evening.

Faro, Algarve's capital city, hosts the regional airport and is a central hub for public transportation within Algarve.

Tavira is a river town, very charming, ideal for an inspiring walk and the delicious traditional restaurants.

ALGARVE WEATHER

July and August is the perfect season to visit Algarve, since the sun is maximum and the rain is minimal. The weather invites you to go outdoors and enjoy the Summer! The rainiest season occurs during November and December, so avoid these two months when scheduling an Algarve rental villa.

According to experts in the area, most of the travelers who fly first class did not actually purchase their tickets. Instead, they upgraded their seats through their mileage programs or they received the upgrade as a courtesy from the airline company.

Due to this decreasing demand, airlines have been forced to pay more attention to the coach class instead, and trying to extract profits from them

Luxury Holidays in Italy

July 8th 2010 02:19
What are the first images that come to your mind when you hear the word Italy? Is it the food, the wines, the scenic views or the romantism? Italy is quite a diverse country known for its good hospitality.

With so many options, some you should definitely keep in mind are cities such as Rome, Venice and Verona. Rome for obvious reasons -- so much History and monuments, the Pope and the Vatican, Michelangelo's Sistine Chapel, and so on. You can also enjoy the romance (and perhaps even a honeymoon) in Venice and its famous canals, or get to know Verona and the land of Romeo and Juliet
