Melbourne’s cutting edge cuisine has its attractions. Even Jamie Oliver has joined in the spot light, dishing up his tucker at the new Fifteen Restaurant in the Windsor Hotel. However celebrities aside, Australians cultural Capital has its heart beat in it’s bubbling bar scene.
Melbourne is Australia’s most European city, walking in the cities streets is like strolling next to the Seine in Paris or South Yarra as Melbourne’s know it. But far from Europe lives a city with so much nostalgia for the good times and an all hour’s scene for sipping the good stuff.
For the sake of convince, Melbourne’s central drinking area is nestled between Flinder’s Street and Victoria Parade. Once you’re in this area, you’ve found the key to abundance. Some of the best bars are harder to find than a needle in a hay stake. As all things trendy these days, they are typically located in abandon warehouses or converted churches.
