Keep It Chic

Ask any woman what she dislikes and it will go like this – insects, bad hair days and living without life’s little luxuries.
So when the men say ‘Let’s go camping’, you can imagine the response – ‘I’ve got to work that weekend’ or ‘My mum’s coming to town’.
Meanwhile, the men have the car packed (why can’t they do that with the dishwasher!) and the front door slams before you can say ‘nail file’.
Before you opt out of the vacation, just make sure you know what your missing, even if it means you’ll have to re-a-just his plans.
In Thailand, camping has gone beyond traditional chic. Chic camping used to mean a Cath Kidston tent – these days it’s gone to a whole new level.
Formally infamous for its opium fields, the Chiang Rai province has had a major clean up in the Golden Triangle region, where the borders of Thailand, Laos and Burma meet.
The Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle is a luxurious camp of 15 tents high on the banks of the Ruak River. It’s only a short flight from Bangkok to Chiang Rai, which, takes just over an hour, after which there is a 45-minute drive to the river, from where you are transported by long-tail boat to the Four Seasons.
That sounds fit for every season..
